Squad MAG Goggles deliver quick-swap clarity for any mountain conditions
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"These are my go-to goggles for variable weather. The MAG system is insanely easy—switching lenses takes seconds, even with gloves. The ChromaPop clarity is unreal, and the anti-fog is some of the best out there. They fit great with most helmets and stay put no matter how hard I’m riding."
We gear up with the Squad MAG Goggles when mountain weather keeps us guessing and clear vision makes all the difference. Smith’s magnetic lens system turns swapping lenses into a matter of seconds, letting us match the conditions from bright bluebird to incoming storm without missing a lap. Each cylindrical Carbonic-x lens delivers crisp optics with TLT technology, and ChromaPop enhances contrast so we can read terrain features, soft snow, and icy patches with confidence.
Fog stays at bay thanks to a 5X anti-fog inner lens and Smith’s AirEvac ventilation, which channels moisture away from the optics for consistently clear views. The Responsive Fit frame adapts comfortably to our face, and triple-layer DriWix foam wicks sweat and sits softly against the skin. A wide, silicone-backed strap keeps everything locked in with our helmet, while QuickFit adjustment makes dialing the right tension effortless. Whether we’re ripping groomers or hunting powder, these goggles deliver all-conditions clarity.

Not great lens clarity.
Optical clarity is pretty bad. In some light conditions it looks like the protective film is still on the lens. Not sure if I got a pair out of a bad batch or what

Versatile
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Great goggles with a great field of view. Bought some for my family because the sale was so good. The lenses are easy to change and it came with two lenses, one for sunny days and another for cloudy days. Really a great package with the goggle bag. Smith makes the best goggles.

Defective Lenses Won't Last Long
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought these for my partner in the Fall, and after just using the googles a few times on the mountain, the lenses have formed bubbles that render the googles useless. There was another review that pointed this out as well. There's some sort of coating on the inside of the lenses that have created bubbles in the highlight and lowlight lenses. It looks like a film that wants to peel off, but it's just the coating on the inside of the lenses. He can't see out of the lenses at all and they are no longer useable after wearing them on the mountain for 2 months max. We've both used Smith googles for a long time and never had this issue until he got this pair. It's really unfortunate that we bought these googles and they can't even be used for a full or even half of a season.

Strap doesn’t last
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Unfortunately after two years the sticky grip on the inside of the strap started coming off and got my helmet sticky. The strap was stored in case and only used about five time total. It ruined my helmet with grease stain even after I got the sticky mess off.

Issue with clip - defective product?
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Weird issue with the clip in the back - it was right in the middle of the strap so I couldn't get it to fit into the hook on my helmet. If I moved it to the left or the right, my goggles were off center and didn't fit on my face correctly

Love it
Best googles I have owned so far. The MAG system makes switching to my lowlight lens a breeze. Fits great and the chromapop makes everything around you look amazing.
