Just board shorts with a Yeti tag
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought: Medium
I own a pair of Yeti Teller shorts that I love for xc and trail riding, so I ordered this pair in the same size. I’m a little disappointed. Had i paid full price, I’d be returning them. There is nothing in these shorts that sets them apart as more than just a pair of board shorts for the beach that you can buy anywhere. My previous Teller pair had a different, stronger material in the “rub points”—ie butt and inner thigh area. This pair is all just one material that i’m sure will be wearing out quickly at those points. This kit also has no hand pockets or wallet pocket in the back compared to my other pair. Functionally, it’s not bad since you still have a pocket in the back middle, but visually, it makes these short look like they should have a Hurley or Billabong tag, which is lame.
Are there pockets?
They only have the one back zip pocket, not side hand pockets.
No hand pockets or wallet pocket. Only one pocket at the back in the middle.
