Eyes on the prize.
When you are zipping through dense tree lines or navigating your jump line through a crowded park, you need clear vision to prevent you from crashing into that little kid that comes out of nowhere. The Von Zipper ALT-SM Wildlife Goggles provide excellent peripheral vision and stellar optics for clear visibility while you make your way down the mountain. The Alternative Lens Thing is best described by their dual polycarbonate toric lenses that mimic the curvature of the cornea to give you excellently clear sight, paired with a frameless design that increases your peripheral vision. UV protection technology is great for those sunny spring days that you ride from open to close, even though you totally love showing off your goggle tan. The anti-fog treated lens and forward ventilation system helps prevent your goggles from fogging when you start to break a sweat. And the small frame size and molded nose guard creates an ergonomic fit that contours your face for no-fuss comfort so you can ride all day without fidgeting your gear.

Amazing tech for small faces
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I bought these along with the XM size to test out the ALT goggle. I have a small collection of different goggles and these feel very unique compared to everything else. The Wildlife lens is a game changer in high visibility goggles. The lenses don't rely on batteries or anything super fancy to give the wearer great visibility in medium to low light conditions. The tint gives everything a very colorful rainbow orange look to it which is great for seeing changes in the snow and it just look super cool, really hyped about these. If you don't already know the ALT goggle is meant to be super lightweight and close to your face, and they do not have the ability to swap lenses which keeps them super light. The downside to these goggles is they don't work well with medium to large faces or people with bigger noses so i recommend the XM size which is great for a medium sized face but not for someone with a very large face. The one real gripe i have about these is the strap size. the band feels small which looks silly with my helmet and by fattening up the width on the band it would disperse the pressure and make the goggle more comfortable. Overall i will probably buy the XM with the wildlife lens at some point because I just like these, even over my super expensive top of the line goggles due to the fit and weight. If your looking for something a little larger with a super wide field of vision check out the satellite or the fishbowl by Von Zipper.
Super comfy with great visibility. Helps with snow depth a ton while cutting the glare.
