Designed to take on firm snow in those areas of the country where powder days are scarce, the Deacon 76 Pro will make even the most skied-off runs a ripping good time. The 76mm waist is nimble enough to give you the quick edge-to-edge response that you need when you're hauling down steep cruisers, while the camber underfoot ensures plenty of edge control while helping you pop into your next turn. You'll also have a rockered tip and tail that sails  through the variable snow conditions that can often occur when everyone's scrambling for the same sections of decent snow, giving you a solid ski for all of your on-piste adventures.

New to Volkl's line of front-side carvers is the 3D.Glass sandwich construction. This gives the ski two dispersed layers of fiberglass that deliver more power to your transitions, while also allowing for a progressive flex throughout. The results are easier-to-initiate turns and superior edge grip on icy and hardpacked slopes. The wood core offers lightweight performance with plenty of strength, while the full sidewall construction ensures long-lasting durability. Plus, to combat chatter and vibrations on steep and icy trails, you've got a UVO vibration dampener towards the tip that'll give you a smooth ride and unaffected ride, making it easier to hold an edge wherever you are on the mountain. 

Specific to the Deacon's Pro model is the Marker World Cup Piston Control interface. Designed to meet the needs of races and competition, this plate features an integrated hydraulic oil piston that converts the energy you put in back to speed and power throughout your whole run.
