Voile Splitboard Hardware for Standard Bindings
VoileSplitboard Hardware for Standard Bindings

So you have your factory-built splitboard and a pair of bindings to mount it up with. Now all you need is the Voile Splitboard Hardware for Standard Bindings (and the proper backcountry safety training, of course), and you're ready to begin exploring the backcountry. It includes all the parts you need and an alignment guide to help you dial everything in. Split hooks and tip clips not included, since they typically are included with factory-built splits.

  • Includes:
  • Two Voile slider tracks
  • Full puck set
  • Alignment guide
  • Two dual climbing heels
  • Two Voile slider pins

Solid, easy to use product.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Installing the hardware kit was relatively easy. I didn't encounter any issues and everything went on easily. The bindings are held on solid and I haven't felt any play while riding. If you don't want to go all in and get splitboard binding and boots this is a great way to go.

Great Intro Gear

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Let's face it, getting into the backcountry has a huge price tag. If you're on a budge, the plate option is an awesome way to start getting after it. There are a few cons that are worth mentioning, and maybe even worth spending the extra money your first season to avoid. I found it hard even with lock tight to get the plates/binding to hold tight. Most bindings are designed with the idea that the straps won't be able to come off because they'll be mounted on a board. This is not the case in tour mode. DON'T FORGET TO DUCKTAP THE STRAPS... like I did and almost lost them. Rookie mistake. Anyway. Here's a cool photo from summer touring in Glacier National Park.

Great Intro Gear

Super solid intro level gear!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I picked these up earlier this season because I was short on cash and really wanted a split board. They are pretty good stuff. Super solid and well engineered (what do you expect from Voile?).

My two gripes are their weight and the fact that my regular bindings have quick sets on either side of the foot that keep getting caught and released. (clearly not Voile's fault, but I wish I had thought about it earlier.) I will likely bump up to full fledged split board bindings next season both to save my legs and cut time stopped to fix bindings.

Fits perfect

Works great with just one pair of bindings have a backcountry and park set up.

    Great Split Kit

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is an awesome kit for those wanting to have just one (resort) pair of bindings that they can use for the resort and the backcountry. If you're building a split set up this year or have questions, definitely contact me and I'll help make sure we're getting you the right parts / kit to suit your needs.
