The best boot for the worst conditions.
The Vasque Women's Eriksson Backpacking Boot thrives on rough trails in wet weather, especially when you have a heavy backpack on. If wetness somehow gets through the waterproof full-grain upper, then Gore-Tex's Performance Comfort lining will stop it before it reaches your sock. Vasque's exclusive Vibram Summit sole utilizes an XSTrek rubber compound for enhanced grip on smooth and slippery surfaces.
Vasque equipped the Eriksson with a highly technical midsole to meet the demands that hardcore backpackers need for their terrain. Its TPU chassis gives you excellent control on rough sections, and EVA absorbs shock while the polyurethane heel cup ensures stability. Vasque also added a dual-density EVA footbed, because backpackers can never get enough cush once they hit the tenth mile.

Good hiking boots
Revived it very quick. Wear to 14er hiking, Had some blisters but I was aware of it because brand new boots, I did not get change to break in. My feet were sore and hurt first day. I did big hiking on the Second day, it was so much better . Then I did another 14er with my boots, I felt so great! It is very eady to hiking on those hard rocks, snow, waterproof it's plus .
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 8
I have bought these in need of a more waterproof boot because my old boots have seen better days. So far I adore these boots. I have tested them out in the snow and rain, and my feet/socks never got wet or cold. I will say they are very stiff straight out of the box. Therefore I have been having to wear them a lot to break them in. I have gotten a bunch of compliments on them so far. The yellow shoe laces are a nice accent color for the boot itself.
Does this boot have an wide option for size 7?
