Troy Lee DesignsSprint Pants - Men's

Race-proven design.

World Cup icons and recreational rippers alike trust the Troy Lee Designs Sprint Pants to keep them covered during DH laps, rugged enduro races, and bike-park shenanigans. The iconic moto-inspired pants perfectly meet your gravity-fueled needs thanks to an articulated cut and lightweight construction that give you full coverage without bulk. If you need more protection than shorts provide, or just want to look like you're about to get gnarly, these will easily do the trick.

The Sprint Pants are built from a blend of durable polyester fabrics, with each panel carefully chosen for durability, stretch, or ventilation as needed. 500D polyester makes up the body of the Sprints, providing abrasion resistance and lightweight coverage, while strategically-placed mesh panels keep you cool and a 3/4-length mesh liner helps wick moisture away from your skin. A stretchy panel at the back yoke won't interfere with your pedaling, and stretch Kevlar panels at the knees add mobility and durability. The pre-curved hip and knee segments keep these pants moving with you as you pedal, rather than binding. At the waist, a gel print and hook-and-loop tabs help you dial in the fit, and zippered hand pockets make sure you won't lose your snacks when you take a tumble.

Pretty solid

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

The material is very breathable. I wear the Troy lee padded under shorts with these pants along with knee guards underneath. While riding, heat is not an issue and ventilation is top notch. I haven't had any major falls yet but they seem to offer good protection.

The only downside is that I feel these will not last more then two seasons worn regularly. They aren't super thick by the standards of most riding pants. More of a race only kit if you're on a budget. They seem to fit a bit snug.

Is the size 28 the same as the kids troy lee designs sprint pants size 28?

Hey Tyler,

Chatted with some TLD folks directly, looks like the difference is going to be the inseam for the size 28. The Youth Sprint Pants is going to have an inseam of 25 and the Men Sprint Pants are 31. Don't hesitate reaching out if there's anything else I can do for you!

Weird sizing

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Size Bought: 34

I always have issues with troy lee stuff for sizing. 32 in the moto shorts is good but for these I went with a 34. The 32 fit but were a little on the tight side for my liking. They were not as thick as the moto shorts but will get the job done. They are well articulated though and provide enough room in the knees to have pads on without any issues.

Great Pants

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: 32

These are great pants, they are light weight but still keep you warm when its raining and windy. I would have gotten one size bigger if I knew they ran small.

Awesome Pants

Super breathable when riding but not too hot if you need to do a little pedaling. knee pads fit really well underneath. Run kind of on the small side so you might need to size up. Would absolutely buy again!!
