Replace your favorite climbing route's manky anchors with Trango's Quicklink.
- Corrosion-resistant steel
- Q & A
It's the military tank version of a quicklink. Everything you own for climbing would break before this thing would. The price is great for something that is corrosion-resistant and will outlast the bolt it's attached to.
Burley Quick link
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Been using these Quicklinks on my longline slack line rig for a while now and really like them where they are appropriate. They are heavier than typical Quicklinks but are much cheaper than steel carabiners which are the best alternative. It is useful to note that any quick link like these are only rated to their MBS when their gate is closed shut so always double check the gate for safety when using these in load bearing set ups.
The burliest quicklink in all the land
Trango's 10mm Quicklink is seriously burly. The oversized diameter adds an extra margin of safety for installations with the idea that the link will remain in place for an extended time, especially since the ring is plated steel and highly corrosion resistant. That being said, they are heavier than a normal rap ring.
