Super Cute, Disappointing Make
- Familiarity:

This is such a cute romper made with a nice feeling breezy cotton! I have other Toad & Co. items and am happy with their quality, but sadly the make of this romper is disappointing. It's difficult to tell from the photos but I assumed there would be a built-in loop to keep the waist tie up—there is, but it's merely a thread on both sides. When I unboxed and saw that I immediately felt nervous about it but hoped it would hold. Nope. After one wear and one gentle wash, they've snapped. Of course I can use the tie without those but I'd have to tie it tight to keep it up on its own which detracts from the comfort. That also means there's nothing to keep the tie in place while say, going to the bathroom...I just have to find a place to rest the tie down. There are also already loose threads around the buttons which makes me worry those are not going to last long either. Hoped I would get good use of this throughout Summers to come so I'm pretty bummed that the details are so sloppy :(
