Therm-a-RestRidgeRest SOLite Sleeping Pad

Don't let its thin profile fool you, the Therm-A-Rest RidgeRest SOLite Sleeping Pad packs a mean punch in the warmth department. This pad utilizes heat-trapping ridges, and is coated with a layer of reflective ThermaCapture technology that redirects radiant heat back to your body to amplify your warmth. The reflective lamination adds durability to this four-season pad, while its ultralight design helps reduce weight for your backpacking trips.

Right for the Price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This pad does a good job of putting an insulated barrier between you and the ground while providing a little padding. I can't complain about much because it is very inexpensive, however don't think you are getting the same quality as some of the more expensive sleeping pads.

Perfect for the kids

Love the price and comfort! All three of our kids are excited to have their own pads instead of Mom and dads hand me downs. And we didn’t break the bank only to watch kids be kids and trash them. Haven’t used them camping yet but tried them out on the hardwood floor and they are comfy!

I got 99 problems but this pad ain't one

Will it change your life? Probably not. Will it make your stay at Hotel du Tent a little nicer? Yes!

Super lightweight, it was easy to carry around (I kept the plastic packaging it arrived in and rolled it back up into it after the trip). Between the sleeping bag and the pad, I had no trouble sleeping and the mornings were soreness-free!

We did have a little oopsie with a bottle of water spilling in the tent - I was glad to have this under my sleeping bag as it kept it dry from the spillage.

    This pad is the best

This pad is the best I have ever seen. It is very comfortable for sleeping: soft, thick because of its relief surface. The thin foil layer (like a silver stain) is reflecting your heat back to your body when you are sleeping.
There are no problems with this pad like blowing it. And you can put it close to the fire if you want to sit on it outside- there is no danger to tear it or make a hole by some needle or stick. I like the width, it fits right the size of my backpack when I attach the pad to it.Not too wide, not too narrow, just what you need for comfortable sleeping. And by the way- the price is really good for quality item. It is a long -living thing for all your trips, hikes and camping!
