Got the job done.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Had my first experience using these this past week out in the Black Hills. My friends and I slept on them in about 50 degree weather on a lumpy, grassy mountain. I was very impressed with how well it held air, kept me warm, and didn't feel any of the sticks or rocks under me. My only complaints is they are very narrow. The regular size pad is about an inch narrower on each side and shorter than my mummy bag. The size was great for packing up in the kayaks, but for car camping I think a wider pad would be worth it.

Very good 3 season pad at a great price

Slightly heavy and bulky by today's top of the line standards. But for $50 there is no better deal. Weighs a little more than a pound and a half, but is very comfortable to sleep on. I carry it in a thermarest 11.5 lliter pad stuff sack (sold seperately) which I attach to the outside of my pack. I have a lighweight summer inflatible that packs down small but offers no insulation. This is my 20 to 50 degree pad. I have two: the older ul pro 4 and this one, and have had no problems with either. If you can store it inflated, if not, inflate it fully for a few days before using to aid in self-inflation while in the front or back country

Definitely recommend.

great product

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've tried other solutions for this issue: sleeping comfortably on the ground. this was absolutely the best result I've ever had. slept very comfortably, even in very cold weather, didn't feel any cold ground, and especially retained the air for 3 consecutive nights.

Bike Across America? Challenge Accepted

I bought these as a going away present for my friends who are biking from NC to Seattle because they are light and pack down small. Nothing fancy at all about these, but that's exactly what they needed and they are so stoked!

It was time

After patching up our pads a million times over, we decided it was worth it to buy some new pads. It is small and lightweight and does the trick. I wouldn't say these are anything spectacular , but they do the job. Good for short jaunts, but i probably wouldn't take it on a heavy duty backpacking trip.

    was quite comfy

Just order the large, you deserve it

Just got home from a backpacking trip in Colorado and this pad was wonderful. After hiking all day there's nothing better than laying down on a super comfy pad for a side sleeper and not having to wake up periodically throughout the night because you've rolled off your pad. Packs smaller than the stuff sack provided so make sure to get some straps or paracord to tie it snug with!

      Great value

Folds up small, very lightweight, comfortable to sleep on and easy to fill up and deflate.

What is the weight and thickness of the Pro4 large size?
There is only one weight stated and I assume that is for the regular size (25oz)

I bought this to replace my old hand-me-down 3/4 length pad that I've been using for years. I just took it on its first bikepacking trip and I am very pleased. It is lightweight, packed up pretty small, and is comfortable. It is a great value.

      awesome quality!!

weighed 2 lbs, so not to bad on weight but mostly for car camping super comfy old nozzle blow up design which is to be expected with the price.
