Awkward heel pad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear doctor-made orthotics in all of my shoes and never have had any issues. I have no issues with other TNF shoes too. But this shoe has an extra heel pad. And that heel pad, with the slight lift from the orthotic, is totally misplaced. It doesn't lock my heel in and just creates a point of rubbing. I gave the shoes three stars because they seem to fit properly and comfortably with the orthotic removed, but I can't actually wear them that way.

Tread wears out fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Treads wore out in the middle in less than 5 months. Usually a north face fan, this is my first bad experience with their shoes. Ankle support is minimal. Would not recommend.

Shoe that is as functional as it is sharp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get these as my entry into the vectiv line. First impressions were that it looked awesome, the design and construction are unique in comparison to other running shoes I've owned and used. As for fit is concerned these shoes are not immediately comfortable and I had to be mindful of how I was distributing my weight as there was some new shoe discomfort. These are breathable and as soon you get used to them you don't want to take them off. Ran on pavement and trails with the dog and they were great!

Great Comnfort, but poor tread wear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for hiking/walking as a replacement for some Merrils...they felt so good and supportive that I ended up wearing them as my daily shoes. I guess these are not built for everyday wear as the tread is gone in under 5 months of. I guess if you use them solely for hiking, perhaps they will last longer. Would like to find the same typ of shoe and support but with a longer lasting tread.

Not at all what I thought there would be...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They were good for the first few times I wore them then they slowly lost all support and feel like I am wearing wet noodles on my feet. The roll my ankle on every little thing on the trail. I have pair of Exploris and they are fantastic and not at all like these model.

Great shoe, looks and feels great...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] super comfortable shoe. A little tight, but I have wide feet. Not a problem though. The only issue I have is that the shoe is narrow and tall, so it might be easy to roll an ankle if running. A wider base may help, but that would detract from the design, which looks great. So far, no problem walking.
