ThermoBall Traction Mule V Shoe delivers cozy insulation and durable grip for camp and home
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"These are like sleeping bags for your feet. I slip them on around camp or at home, and the warmth is instant. The traction is solid enough for icy porches, and they’re lightweight enough that I toss them in my pack every winter trip."
We turn to The North Face ThermoBall Traction Mule V Shoe when we want cozy comfort and easy functionality at camp, in the cabin, or lounging at home. The water-resistant ripstop upper shrugs off light moisture, while PrimaLoft ThermoBall Eco insulation keeps our toes warm, even if conditions are damp.
The collapsible slip-on design makes it effortless to slide into these shoes for midnight tent exits or quick coffee runs. Underfoot, the partially recycled rubber sole grips both slick kitchen tiles and frosty campground ground, giving us reliable traction without sacrificing packability. Crafted with recycled materials, the Mule V combines sustainability, warmth, and convenience in a lightweight package we’ll reach for every season.

Apres ski slipper that you cannot go wrong with
It's a warm comfort slipper, maybe too warm for most situations, but a necessity for winter camping and ski trips. Size-wise, it's pretty roomy. I am size 6.5 and ordered a 7. It's a little too big with my daily socks, but when I put on my very thick merino wool camping socks, it's perfect. I would recommend sizing down half if you intend to wear it just with your daily socks. I do wish it could be more compact when packed and lighter, so I can throw it into my 12L backpack, but I am just happy as is.

I'll buy a second colour but my feet smell so bad lol
Size 7 women's, yellow. I love these slippers, genuinely. Especially for their durability, comfort, ease of cleaning, warmth, & water resistance. I get compliments on them lots. My only 1st world 'problem' is that they started making my feet reek within a week, even with socks on. I kinda feel like every slipper out there makes your feet stink tho.

Imma start a collection of Thermoballs after this.
I bought these Thermoballs because I have chronically cold feet all the time. When they arrived, I put them on, not automatically feeling their warmth, but I noticed their high quality and good traction for a pair of "slippers". The warmth was what I bought them for, though, so I gave them about ten minutes to test. After ten minutes, I forgot I was even wearing shoes because my feet were so comfortable. I went outside, went for a drive, and did my daily activities with them. Only when I went to wash my feet before bed did I then take them off, and my feet were sweating with how much thermal heat they'd been conducting! The heat aspect is what I bought these shoes for, and I wasn't disappointed. They look super cool, too, not degrading fashionable outfits in the least. Great shoes for walking through light snow as well, I was concerned the water would leak through, but the entire shoe was unsoaked and my feet were still warm after trekking through it. Overall, great buy. I'm going to take these with me on my trip to Japan.

So great!
I LOVE these slippers! I go through slippers quickly and have been looking for a pair that would last longer than 2 months, have a bit of a sole, keep my feet warm, and of course look good. These do all those things. I sadly tore the top of mine walking too close to the wood stove but it patched up easily

My favorite!! Not sure about the colored one though!! I have some green ones also and I got them a little wet and it messed up the fabric!

Uncomfortable for me
I wanted to love these, like I loved my Vans mules. But sadly these are very uncomfortable, having zero support. I read the reviews and didn't see many people complain about the comfort of them, so I gave them a shot. I have constant pain in my feet that stems from having RA, so it's very hard to find a comfortable shoe/slipper. They are extremely warm, and the color is very nice! I usually wear an 8.5 and the 8 fit me perfectly. I'd recommend them to people who don't have problems with their feet.

If you are a half size do these stretch a bit once broken in? would you go down or up a size?

How is this product different than the Men's version? Styling is the same, and I can't imagine slipper "lasts" are any different. Is it just the sizing?
