The North Face equipped this piece with synthetic THERMOBALL™ insulation that mimics the loft of down but stays warm when wet—perfect for shoulder-season hikes, drizzly mornings, or stashing in our pack for summit layers. A lightweight WINDWALL™ shell and non-PFC DWR finish help cut the wind and shed light moisture, making it a solid option for variable weather.

The jacket is also part of The North Face’s Circular Design initiative, which means it's built with recycled materials and thoughtfully designed for future disassembly and recycling. The hood adjusts with a simple cinch, and we appreciate the small touches that improve function—elastic cuffs, secure-zip hand pockets, and a hem cinch-cord.
