Good pants with an odd fit

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 32/Long

Tight in the waist compared to other brands. Legs are straight cut, almost boot cut. I'd prefer them tapered.

Full range of motion

Your regular dockers are restricting/heavy/hot. These are stretchy, light and comfortable. I love that you can jump, run and climb in these and you feel no restriction. I would say these are more of a straight fit. I will actually through a button up on with these and go to weddings, they look great. Great for the trail and office.

Nice material, but poorly tailored

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I received the Men's Narrows Pant today, 6/29/2016, in size 30, Weimaraner brown. The fabric is very nice, a little thicker than I expected, and slightly stretchy. It appears to be durable and able to hold up to reasonably heavy use. The color is a greenish brown that's hard to describe, but it's attractively masculine.

However, I was expecting a trim fit with "boot cut" legs to fit over my backbacking boots. Instead, the pant is too big to the point of being baggy, and the legs taper down too narrowly at the ankles. Unlike my prior purchases of TNF pants in size 30, these pants don't fit me well.

I'm returning the item tomorrow, so I regret that I can't say how well it performs in use.
