Sickline Jacket

Conquer the steeps with skis underfoot and The North Face Sickline Jacket on your back. Its HyVent Alpha membrane works with the fully taped seams to provide waterproof breathable protection, and PrimaLoft Silver Eco insulation uses partially recycled materials to ensure warmth in a soft package. The Sickline also features underarm vents for circulated airflow, a stretch powder skirt that clips into compatible pants by The North Face, and an adjustable hood that slides over helmets with ease. The North Face also added inner cuffs with thumbholes for comfortable security, and water-resistant zippers cover all the external openings for additional protection that most ski jackets don't have. There's a radio holder inside the chest pocket, just in case you decide to hop out of the resort and into the backcountry for a few hours.

Great jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: medium

I'm 5'8 and 140 lb, got a medium, and this was the perfect jacket for me this winter. I bought SEVERAL others from Backcountry and they were awesome with returns until I found the perfect jacket. This jacket isn't bulky, but it's incredibly warm. It's a longer fit, which is awesome for snowboarding and because I have a long torso. Love it! Highly recommend. One thing I did have trouble with is the zipper; it 'mis-threaded' a few times and I had to fix it.

Awesome jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Great snowboarding jacket. Warmth without bulk, free movement, handy pockets, keeps you dry. Highly recommend!

TNF Women's Sickline

    Runs big

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I'm 5'8, 140lbs and the medium is too big. The small works. If you're petite/short, however, I think this jacket would be too long in the torso and arms since the small fit my tall frame perfectly. I don't like the cut of the jacket; unflattering around the chest area. Too large in that area, not tailored enough. The jacket also doesn't have thumb hole sleeves, which I prefer. The main zipper also seems a bit flimsy. The jacket is also less insulated than I expected, but I can't comment on whether it's sufficient to keep one warm since I'm returning it without having used it.

Great piece, but color is off.

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size

Purchased this jacket for my sister for the holidays, and while it's a great piece that fit her well (5'7", about 120lbs, size Small was good), and it had some smart features and was well-made, the color wasn't what we'd hoped for. The Tech Blue, depending on your computer monitor, may seem like a deep "Blue Man Group" blue, but it's closer in person to a bluish-violet that approaches purple. I'll be returning it for her to find something else from TNF or another brand.

    Big fan of this jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

I have rather curvy hips and have a lot of trouble finding cute women's jackets that is tailored in but also covers my bum. I was so pleased when I received this jacket not only does it fit perfectly but it is super comfortable and easy to move in when you ride. It keeps me nice and warm without being too hot. Would highly recommend it!

    How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
    Sleeve Length:
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
