Love them

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I snagged a pair of these off the REI clearance rack last spring and skied in them for 6 or 7 days. i LOVE the venting for spring skiing. Seem well constructed but we'll see if they last 10 years like my old Arcteryx.. Nice waterproof zippers. I also love the cords that allows you to shorten the legs for walking in the parking lot.

I have noticed no discomfort in the crotch area but my vents do not run all the way across the crotch. I have two separate zippers on the inside of each thigh, plus zippers on the outer seam of each thigh. Maybe they modified these after hearing those complaints. Great venting, and very comfortable.
I had no issues with the inner thigh vents, but mi

Not so great, if you like your boys

  • Size Bought: Med Long

Great color, great fabric, great fit, even a medium long! Awesome. Except...a zipper going through your boys yard. Walking in them feels off. I have no choice but to return.

Did the designers try these on?

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

These pants are quite nice, but have a fatal flaw. Nice fabric, fit, and features. Even comes in long size which is a big deal for me.

But they ruined it with a vent that runs between the inner thighs RIGHT ACROSS THE CROTCH. Which means that there is a bulky zipper running right through downtown, where every bit of extra material gets in the way. I wouldn't want to ski and definitely not hike with a wad like that up against my junk.

Sorry TNF, these are going back.
