Powderflo Jacket

The North Face Powderflo Jacket is made for just that, flowing through deep powder on another best day ever. Gore-Tex 2-layer material sheds water and snow while blasting through the white room, and a powder skirt prevents stray snow from sneaking up into the jacket when taking the occasional tumble in the deep stuff. The underarm ventilation can be unzipped during warm days to dump heat, and the helmet compatible hood can thrown on for added protection when the wind and snow gets intense but catching free refills is too good to pass up.

  • A jacket for powder days and charging through deep snow
  • Gore-Tex 2-layer material sheds water when blasting through snow
  • Powder skirt prevents snow from sneaking in when taking a spill
  • Underarm vents dump heat when the sky clears and the day warms up
  • Helmet compatible hood offers extra protection from snow and wind
  • Jacket to pant system provides integration with compatible TNF pants

Disappointed

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XXL

Back Country has misleading advertising, meaning what you see is NOT what you get. The colors are different than what appears on line

did it fit? what else is wrong with it, if any. This is a North Face Gore-tex jacket. Looks nice to me.

Unanswered Question

I’m curious about some features on this jacket. Are there inside zipper pockets? Is the media pocket insulated to keep your battery from freezing? Most importantly, is there a thumb loop of some kind? I previously had the NFZ Gore Tex Shell jacket and I found the thumb loop to be a huge help for keeping glove leashes secure on the lift.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Measure the hip circumference at the fullest part of the seat, keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Sleeve Length:
Measure the distance from the prominent bone at center back neck, across the shoulder, over the bent elbow to the center of the wrist bone.
