Ride in comfort.

Wear the Men’s Merino Wool Baselayer Tight under your ski pants, and thank The North Face for the most comfortable day of skiing you’ve had yet. Merino wool is lightweight and warm, and wicks away sweat as you tear down the hill to keep your legs from getting clammy on the chairlift. The length is cut to land just above your boots to eliminate bunching and chafing, and the gusseted crotch and low-profile overlock deliver superior comfort as you move.

  • Baselayers for skiing and snowboarding
  • Merino wool is soft and breathable
  • Gusseted crotch for full range of motion
  • Top-of-boot length eliminates bunching

good stuff

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

i really like these

So Frustrating!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

As you can see from the picture, these are men's wool bottoms which go down to the ankle, right? WRONG! These bottoms end at the calf! That's right. I read all the specs--actually looked for an inseam measurement but there was none--and figured they would work well enough. My husband is only 5' 8

it says right in the description: "Top-of-boot length eliminates bunching"

warmth on and off the hill

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I use these while i need to stand in the cold for long periods of time without moving much. they are a saver when it is freezing cold. Wool is obviously great and fends off smells pretty well which is nice. fit is on point.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Measure the hip circumference at the fullest part of the seat, keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Sleeve Length:
Measure the distance from the prominent bone at center back neck, across the shoulder, over the bent elbow to the center of the wrist bone.
