Commutr Glove

Winter commutes take a certain amount of commitment beyond the sunny summer mornings, but with The North Face Commutr Gloves your digits can stay toasty and warm when your ride into the city drops into freezing temps. These gloves wrap you up with stretchy jersey-face fleece with a gentle stretch, and double knit palms for staying gripped to your handlebars. The palm and finger caps are capped with goatskin leather to send grip and durability to the next level, and feature UR Powered soft shell for touch screen compatibility. The back of the gloves are constructed from tough softshell material that cuts through the wind, coming in under 20CFM for wind permeability, assuring you that even the windiest of days won't send cold gusts to your digits.

  • Windproof resistance for winter commutes
  • Softshell offers protection from the elements
  • Jersey-face fleece lining keeps you toasty
  • 5-way stretch ensures a comfortable fit
  • Goatskin leather enforced palm extends durability and grip
  • Touchscreen compatibility for communicating with warm fingers

Low quality - two finger touch

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

While these gloves are described as "five-finger touch screen capability", only two fingers per hand activate a touch screen.

The material is straight-up uncomfortable. They're very rough like a work glove, but that didn't seem to help them stay warmer or keep water out. Additionally, they're tighter than most similarly sized gloves in the palm (I purchased a medium).

So after about a month of what I would consider light use - maybe 2x or 3x a week. The seam on the index finger came apart. I think these are the most disappointing gloves I purchased in the past 10 years. I expected better from the North Face.

Not a fan of the unisex sizing on these

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Purchased these for my wife who was looking for a pair of comfortable, warm gloves with a good grip that would be good for wearing in the mornings while scraping ice off her car, or while out and about on cold days. These gloves look nice and seem like they would be warm and sturdy, but the unisex sizing doesn't seem ideal. My wife usually wears a 7.5 in women's gloves and doesn't have issues with glove fit, but these gloves were too long in the fingers and felt awkward.

Simple and warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These gloves were perfect for the cold mornings in Utah. There has been a lot of instances where I would have to wipe off the snow on my car and these were perfect for those moments. They fit perfectly since I have long slim fingers. I would recommend these for more casual wear or going on hikes/walks.

Great for average cold Weather

This pair of gloves are great for the cold of the city and the everyday life, comfortable and stylish. Don’t take them to a ski resort for sure.

Would these be good at a ski resort
