Nice fitting fleece.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

A very comfortable top that fits me in the shoulders and neck. I can't say that about all tops. The fleece is a perfect weight and layers nicely under a light jacket or midlayer. Got this in 2 different colors I like it so much.

Quality not on par for TNF

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large

Notice how boxy the neck opening is, and think to yourself it couldn't possibly be that boxy ? Well it is. For whatever reason, once zipped up there are a good 3 inches of boxy empty space between fleece and your neck. The fit is really terrible, just look at the online photos, you will look that silly in this. PLUS the fleece itself, I've not seen such cheap construction in a TNF garment. The wind goes right through this fleece! I really hope this is not a new trend for TNF.

Finally, a fleece that fits.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I realize that this piece is designed for men, but as a 6'1" female who isn't exactly petite, it's a relief to find something that fits my frame.

I tend to run on the cold side, so opted for this 200 weight fleece. The long zip made putting in on/taking it off very easy, even with a cap on, as well as venting when I got too warm hiking above 10,000 feet. This was my first time using the waffle pattern insulation/breathing design, and found it sufficient. I recommend this as a light layer.

(I purchased the hyper blue color, and found it to be delightful.)
