The North Face Base Camp Plus Flip Flop - Men's

Kick off your shoes after a long day of exploring and enjoy the supreme softness of The North Face Men's Base Camp Plus Flip Flop. This plush flip-flop features a geodesic PU footbed that softens each stride across beaches, craggy campsites, and urban environments alike. Unlike other flip-flop designs, this cushy footbed won't pack out over time, retaining its cloud-nine cushioning for the life of the sandal. The soft, jersey-lined strap won't irritate sensitive skin or cause blisters, even when you're walking long distances. As a grippy bonus, the blown rubber sole delivers sure-footed traction across slippery shorelines and rugged environments.

Stick with the standard Base Camps

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I really wanted to like these but they are just nowhere near as comfortable as the standard base camp flip flops. I wear an 11 in the standards and in these can barely get my foot into them. The straps are too tight and restrictive and am going to have to give them to a buddy that has more narrow feet.

Super cush.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are my go-to sandals after riding my bike all day or coming home from work. The eggshell-inspired footbed is like walking on cloud-nine, cushioning your tired feet with padded relief. They fit great for walking around, and the sole is plenty grippy for around-town activities and casual outdoor pursuits like car camping. Definitely a great addition to your summer footwear collection.

Meh

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

They look good and feel OK, but they do not fit right. They are not snug to your feet and force you to walk different than other flip flops. I guess having a fatter foot here is ideal, but it's not for us skinny guys. I'd look elsewhere.
