Absolutely Perfect Jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I purchased this for a trip to the DC area. It was the perfect length, weight, fit, and was easy to pack in my carry-on (which says A LOT considering it was a 5 day girl's getaway)! I LOVE this jacket! I have several North Face pieces and they all are great but the versatility of this one makes this my favorite! A friend I was visiting ended up purchasing it as well!!

Got it for my mama.

This jacket is warm, stylish, and perfect for whatever-weather below 50 degrees. My mom has been wearing it non-stop since I sent it to her last month. She lives back east, and if there's anything I don't want her being during the winter, it's cold. She really, really loves this coat. Says it's plenty warm, and fits even better than some of its more expensive, more "stylish" counterparts. The femme flare of extra length is super flattering and allows her to wear this both to her professional work environment and to walk the dogs during a blustery evening. Anything that's that versatile is a win in our books.

Just a heads up to those considering this jacket. This version does not have much insulation so you will want to layer underneath depending on the conditions and how cold it is outside. It can be very warm when layered with a fleece or down jacket but as a stand alone jacket the only insulation is a very thin knit backer.
