The only thing we like more than a retro styled hiking boot is a hiking boot packed with features. The Teva Freeside RR Boot checks both of these boxes by packing a waterproof membrane and ample cushion into a clearly retro boot that encourages us to bag peaks all year long.

Definitely would not buy again
Bought these for a trip to Norway. They were hands down the most comfortable hiking boots I tried on. Unfortunately, that comfort went away once they were actually in use. My heels hurt and various spots rubbed my fee the wrong way. Fortunately no blisters though. They were alright for an hour or so but then the discomfort kicked in. Nothing worse than hiking for a few hours and thinking about feet rather than the landscape. They weren't all bad though. The waterproofness worked great and I really like the tread. Very grippy in a variety of terrain. Still, I definitely would not buy again and I probably would never buy another Teva hiking boot.

Great daily boots
I work in home remodeling and after seeing a general contractor wearing these last year and loving the look, decided to give them a try. They are perfect for what I do daily on job sites. Light enough to not feel like a normal "work boot" but tough enough to withstand the work just like the others out there. The grip is good for ladders/roofs/wet and muddy environments. Fit is great and they clean up well if need be (they are work boots after all). Recently used them while doing yard work and they worked/protected me much better than my old grass stained Nike shoes.
