Kick, don't stick, thanks to this hard wax.
Swix has maintained its traditional V-Line Hard Kick Waxes so recreational skiers and racers alike can have ever-reliable grip and a smooth-as-silk glide without the need for fluorine additives. Each color corresponds to a temperature range best suited for the particular characteristics of that wax. Used alone or in combination with VR waxes, the V-Line provides a versatile way to prep your skis for an enjoyable, fast-paced ride no matter what the conditions.
- Q & A
a tenant of ours has spilled or smeared kick wax on a shag carpet. It's very sticky with no odor or color. In case this really is what is on the carpet, how would you suggest I remove it? I was thinking of starting with an iron and damp cloth. Solvent? Thanks for any ideas you can give me.
Nothing like an extra blue day
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Swix extra blue is the definition of an excellent ski day. The other flavors work well too, but as it gets warmer, don't expect to be racing on V50. Swix has been in the business for a long time and knows what to do when it comes to waxing.
These are great waxes to have in every box, racer or newbie. They have proven durable and true to their temperatures every time. A great, cheap alternative to Swix's VR line of racing kick waxes for those who aren't too serious. I found that sometimes these work well in a pinch for racing too, covering better temperature ranges than the VR. However, these are not iron on waxes. Cork only.
