Exactly what I wanted
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: XS
I was pretty indecisive about what kind of softshell to buy for Nordic skiing, but I'm really glad I ended up going with this pair. I went with my normal size and though the waist is a little big, I haven't experienced any of the fit issues that other reviewers mentioned. The roomy waist isn't even something I notice once I'm out skiing. The pants have a slim fit, but leave enough room for me to layer insulated tights underneath, and they've been breathable and easy to move in so far. I love the wide waistband and ankle zippers too. If you're looking for a softshell for Nordic or winter running, I'd highly recommend these!
Just what I was looking for!
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Small
I was looking for ski pants that are like leggings and this fit the bill! I ordered a few different pairs of Swix and this pair was the most comfortable and fit me best. I didn't have the poofy front problem like the other reviewer. I'm 5'6" 130 lbs and a small fit just right with a tiny bit of room for me to wear thin merino wool leggings under.
If She Had a Front Butt...
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
If my wife had a front butt, then maybe these would have worked–some serious poofage in the front. But to be fair, my wife has big legs and a small waist, so she had to order a size up. Maybe someone with smaller legs who ordered the appropriate size wouldn't experience all of the extra material in the front that my wife did.
What is the length of the ankle zippers? Are they long enough to take off over Nordic ski boots so the pants can be used for warm up?
