SwanyX-Cell II Mitten - Men's

They're like bad-ass leather jackets for your hands.

The Swany X-Cell II Mittens keep your hands warm and feeling great in cold, wet conditions, so you can rock run after run without ever getting chilled digits. The leather construction and bomber-jacket style would be at home in a dog fight.

  • Dryfinger Reflection membrane keeps out moisture and helps water vapor escape so your hands don't feel cold and clammy like zombie hands
  • Thermolite insulation holds in warmth so your hands stay toasty even in freezing temps
  • LeatherShield shell is durable enough to handle hard-hitting runs
  • Articulated construction is preformed for snowboarding and skiing so your hands don't have to fight to be where they need to be

On of the best mitten out there

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

In a XL, fits a liitle larger than their three finger mitten. But as warm as that one, one of the warmest mitten out there no question asked

Warm, comfortable, high quality

This mitten is amazing. It has very comfortable separated fingers in the mitten that dramatically add warmth. It also has ventilation zippers that let you shed heat. The only thing that wasn't perfect, is the gauntlet portion is a little small to fit over baggier jackets. Other than that, the gloves are great. I would say they run a little on the small size.

Great Mitt

I bought these on a -10 day at Crested Butte because my Hestra's weren't up to the task. I haven't looked back and the Swany Mitt has been my go to for the past 3 years. The interior has separated fingers which improves dexterity and utility without sacrificing warmth.

    So Warm!

Bought these as a gift and they are PERFECT for the cold weather we've been having. They are so warm and toasty on those cold, powder days on the mountain.

Do these have a wrist leash strap? I cannot tell from the photos

According to the listed characteristics of the glove I found on Swany's website, they do in fact come with a wrist leash strap. However, if you visit the page (http://www.swanyamerica.com/p/x-cell-ii-mitt), be sure to read the top review someone post about their beliefs and critiques of the efficacy of the strap itself. They seemed to make some valid points you might want to consider before you go forth with a purchase.

I've included a picture taken from the foregoing website that displays the wrist leash protruding from the glove, though which area specifically I cannot say.

Best mitten I've used to far

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

This mitten is hands down better than The North Face Summit series mitten for use when skiing. I was warm the whole time with not much need for hand warmers. My skin was always dry, and there was not any wind penetration from the cuff up my jacket or into the mitten.

      Awesome

These mittens are like sticking your hands into warm clouds. Super warm. The inner glove is where it's at. Best mittens I've used.
