Comfortable, but durable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

I loved these for the first couple of wears. However, two of my three pairs have fallen apart after a couple of cycles in the washer/dryer. The seam comes apart and is a pain to untangle from the rest of my clothes. I really like how these fit and stay put on me, but am very disappointed by the short lifespan.

I had the same thing happen with mine (2 out of 3, gone), and I had to cut the little fibers away from my other clothes they were strangling.

I like them so far/ size up

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: L

Wore them on a short hike today and I like them so far. I was looking for panties that were seamless. Apparently, underwear companies think we want seems “down there”...I don’t get it. Thankfully, I found these. I’ve always worn a medium in panties but had to return the M and get a L. I’m 5’8” and weight 126 with a pretty flat booty and not much curve. They felt comfy on my hike. I’m curious to see how they hold up after a few weeks and washes .

Best Budget Briefs

Dollar for dollar, you can't do much better than these Stoic undies. Sure, the quality may not be the highest, but at around $3/pair (wait until they're on sale, they always go on sale) I can't imagine you'll find a better deal. The waistband stays upright and doesn't fold over, I rarely if ever have to pick a wedgie, they dry incredibly fast and roll or fold up small for travel or camping. Yeah, they might start to fray after a couple washes, but I've got a pair of scissors to snip the unruly threads. NBD for the price you're paying as far as I'm concerned. The perfect budget adventure undies!

I purchased this underwear for a 3-day bike camping trip. They were so light and comfortable, I didn't notice having them on. They are very stretchy and were a little roomy. I usually wear a medium and purchased a medium but I could have fit into a small. They worked out either way! I like these and was glad to have them for traveling. They didn't pinch, bunch, rise, or get in my way. Flexible, breathable material. Washed them in the machine and dried in the drier and came out like nothing ever happened. I would purchase it again.

I have bought these several times. The last few I have gotten have been horrible after 2 or 3 washes all the seams are coming apart. Out of 15 I've lost 4 so far

        poor fabrics

          Poor quality in the fabrics.

I love these. Bought some last year or so. So I ordered more. And then I just bought some more. Doesn't feel like I'm wearing any. They are so comfortable

Great undies for a great price!

          • Size Bought: Medium

I wanted to purchase new underwear for an upcoming tramping trip to New Zealand and decided on these and am happy that I did. Super comfortable, lightweight, and GREAT VALUE! I'm on a budget, so these are a great option if you need new undies but don't wanna break the bank.

Small leg holes and uncomfortable fabric

          • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
          • Fit: Runs small
          • Size Bought: Large

I've never tried on underwear and thought, "why are the leg holes so small?" until this pair. I haven't worn them out so I can't attest to the fabric in use, but it felt a bit uncomfortable and harsh.
I gave these a shot because they were a deal--but even on sale they weren't worth it. Stoic stuff can be really hit and miss; for me this pair was a miss.

          • Size Bought: xl

got these because I needed something that was breathable and it does great! good for anti-odor conditions as well, the only thing is that if you have a belly then it will not stay up, definitely for the skinny girls!

          Cute, comfy, affordable ...

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
          • Fit: True to size

I really love these undies! They are super comfortable, breathable, and of course cute ! You definitely can't beat the price. I've bought me many pairs, definitely recommend.

          comfy and great price

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times
          • Fit: Runs small
          • Size Bought: medium

These were bought to replace some amazingly durable, if expensive, Patagonia underwear. So far, I'm very happy with them. The fit is good, and the quality seems to be there. I'm hopeful that they'll be as durable as well.

          odd cut

          • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
          • Fit: Runs small
          • Size Bought: Small

I really like the smooth fabric of these but the cut does not work for me. I ordered a small (I'm usually XS or S), and the leg openings are small enough that they constrict my legs, cutting off circulation. I end up with red rings after putting these on. I'm an avid runner and trail runner, so my lower half is definitely muscular & built, but I'm also a petite person and in non-athletic clothing I struggle to find undies that are small enough for me. So I didn't expect that my thighs and hips would make these undies a no-go. The rest of the underwear fits me well, just the leg openings are an issue.

          Comfy and breathable

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times
          • Fit: True to size
          • Size Bought: Medium

Sometimes I forget they are there! Very comfy and do not get sweaty and uncomfortable. I am excited to wear these traveling!

          Hold Up Well

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
          • Fit: Runs small
          • Size Bought: Small

I've been wearing these as my main daily underwear for months now. They've held up better than most other technical underwear I've tried (I own pairs from three other major brands). While most of my other quick-dry underwear have stretched out, some to the point of no longer being functional, these have continued to fit well and stay put. Especially for the price of the 3-pack, I'll be buying these again. My only complaint is that they're ever so slightly thicker than other brands and thus take a little bit longer to dry when hang-drying (still not as long as cotton).

For sizing reference, my waist fluctuates between 25-26" (S according to the size chart) and my hips from 35-36" (XS according to the size chart). I usually go more by my hip measurement for underwear, but in this case I ordered size small and have been happy with the fit.

          Nice Undies

          • Size Bought: Large

Have worn Patagonia underwear for years, these are better fitting and way better priced. Appear to be better made as well. Haven't had a snuggie yet:)

          Run Small

I took the advice of all the other reviews and ordered a size larger than I typically wear. They fit great and function as one would expect.

            Forgot I was wearing them

These are probably the best undies I’ve ever had. They fit perfectly. I hiked over 12 miles wearing them and forgot I was even wearing them.

              Garment Sizing:
Stoic gear refers to the size of the person for measurements, so take your own measurements to determine what size you should buy.
              Sizing Notes:
The Women's cotton tees run small especially for larger busts. We suggest ordering a size up.
              How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
