AMAZING!!!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: M

Buyers build...
6'1"
32" waste
145 lbs

I bought 5, at first. I wore a pair everyday for a week then ordered 5 more!
Perfect fit. Typically runs past knee caps, one pair is slightly shorter but feels great either way. With excessive activity(full squats dozens of times in an hour for several hours) there may be occasional bunching behind the knees but it's so soft that it doesn't bother me a bit.
Perfect seat, I can wear them a little low or high around waste, works great either way.
These are soooo comfortable, cool and warm, that I no longer use my boxer briefs from Under Armor, unless it's above 70°. They give my package plenty of room to breathe and just enough support to prevent undesired shifting.
They keep true to smelling great after many long and strenuous uses.
I feel better while wearing these and after I take them off. Improves quality of life.
Good for 20°-70°. 20°-30° with movement.
In a few weeks, if they 're still available, I plan on buying 10 more to stock up on them. These are one of those articles of clothing that are severally missed after they sell-out and wear-out.

Perfect backpacking base layer

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

As someone who does a lot of strenuous backpacking these are perfect! Personally I hate full length base layers because I tend to get too hot. I love how lightweight and comfortable they are. Yes these fit slightly above the knee which is perfect for keeping my core warm. If your looking for a true 3/4 length these are not the ones to buy but if your like me and desire lightweight warmth and comfort you can't find a better pair!

Strange Fit Confirmed

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: small

These do fit strange and are not as high quality as the old stoic merino. But they are cheap so I had to try em.

Lowrise in the back strange fit overall

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

Low rise in the back, tight on thighs, loose in waist, length not really long enough to get past my knee

Size up

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Size Bought: Small

These are a great value for the price, they are a thinner merino base layer but they run extremely tight. I have a skiers butt (it's big) and thicker thigh's. These are great for the length but they are just too small. I could probably fit in a large comfortably and i normally wear smalls, but the right size for me is most likely the medium.

Weird cut/fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

I saw the other poor fit reviews, but thought I give is a try based on them being on sale. I sized up, and they fit snug like expected. However, the rise is too short and doesn't cover my rear properly (I have an average butt, I think). Also, the leg length is extra short compared to other 3/4 lengths I own, these barely reach just past my knee and bunch behind the knee when I bend. I would not recommend these based on these fit issues, but the material seams fine otherwise.

Strange length

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

These are a bizarre length. I purchased the 3/4 length for use when skiing so they did not interfere with my boots and the full length to wear under waders when fishing. The 3/4 length do not go past my knees, more like an extra long boxer brief. The full length is what i would consider appropriate length to wear when skiing as they fit about where my ski boot will stop. I am 6'2" 205 lbs with a large ass and quads, these do fit tight but do not restrictive. I have yet to wear while while skiing or being active but i think they will do the job.

For those that have been holding out for the Stoic merino line to come back and are familiar with the feel of the previous products, this is not the quality you are accustomed. I absolutely love my old Stoic merino shirts, warm and soft. This polyester blend does not have the same feel.

Hey John, sorry those ended up being too short, but thank you for the feedback. This really helps the Backcountry community.

Runs VERY small

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium and Large

Too small in the thighs. I ordered the medium (have some stoic merino baselayer bottoms from a few years ago in size large which are quite big on me) and couldn't even pull them on (32" waist). As in, they would not pull up past the knees. Sent them back for the Large, which are "roomy" in the waist and STILL too small in the thighs. I give up, great idea and I really wanted these to work but just bad sizing for an athletic product.
