It’s Great

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I am 6 foot 2 inches and the chair fits me great. Most chairs aren’t tall enough for me but this one does.

This chair is great and it is really really big. Seems to be very durable so far, had it out about a half dozen times now including some river trips. I espeicially like the magnetic pouch on the side.

    Comfortable and durable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Have bought 6 all together for myself and family. Very durable and very comfortable.

    So comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

Nice, wide seat. Thick sturdy material, the extra can cooler is a nice feature. The mesh can holder is a great size too- fits Brumate koozie and other similar off-brand metal can insulators. The chair bag is nice and thick too, doesn't tear or rip at the seams like nylon camp chair bags.

    Comfortable around the campfire

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

We purchased two Fireside 5 OClock chairs for our road trip machine -- outfitting for comfortable car-camping. They are exactly as billed, comfortable collapsing chairs well-suited to car camping life. They unfold and set up in seconds, and collapsing and stuffing them back in their bags is easy, though they're fairly bulky overall, almost four feet long, and about 8in in diameter. Two of these, plus a Stoic folding table, takes up about 1/3 of the cargo area in our small station wagon (with room to stack stuff on top, of course). The cup holder and small stowage bin are nice touches.

I am 6ft 1in tall and find the height perfect. My wife is 5ft 3in tall and said that she wouldn't want them any taller.

    Large and in charge

I was quite happy with the size and quality of this chair. Feels sturdy and was even bigger than I imagined. Finally a cup holder that can fit a cup!

      Seriously comfortable

This chair is definitely a car camping chair, it's not the smallest but oh man. The comfort is hard to beat especially for the price. A cooler pocket is also seriously helpful for stashing keys, cell phones, or just whatever you have in your pockets. It's well built and no doubt one that will hold up well over time. While this photo isn't the greatest of it. Getting wrapped up in the adventures and memories is kinda the point of getting out. This adventure was a multiday paddleboarding trip down to Lake Powell with Lone Rock Beach being the camp site.

        Seriously comfortable
