Replacing my 32T with a 34T so that I can use my granny gear more often and charge the fast sections harder. This thing does what is expected and I haven't had an issue yet.
With the new 12 speed drivetrains you can run larger rings up front and still get an easier granny gear than you did with your older 11 speed set up. Why the heck not?
Running a 34 on my tallboy and it barley clears. I enjoy pushing larger gears and would have probably gone with a 36 if I could fit it. Great ring so far, no complaints.
I actually really like the new design of the X-Sync chainring. Generally feels like the new tooth design clings onto the chain really well and helps prevent chain drop.
The updated X-Sync chainring is designed to grip your chain like Eagle talons on flesh.
The new X-Sync ring has been improved over the original and it shows. I used this on an XX1 11speed and it performs perfectly.
