Upgrading your loyal road frame to an 11-speed drivetrain is pretty exciting, even more so now that it doesn't require spending all season to save up. Whether you've chosen a full Rival groupset or are mixing and matching SRAM componentry, trust the PG-1130 11-Speed Cassette to be a workhorse addition to your drivetrain. Its durable heat-treated steel cogs and aluminum spider will tip the scales higher than pricier counterparts, but they'll function just as admirably, with SRAM's PowerGlide tooth profile hanging onto the chain without slowing it down on its journey. Upgrade now and enjoy the possibilities of having one extra gear in your quiver.

    • Workhorse cassette makes 11-speed affordable
    • Dependable steel and aluminum construction
    • PowerGlide teeth hang onto chain without slowing it down

good enough, except when it's not

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I thought I'd save a little money by putting this cassette and corresponding chain on my otherwise-Force build. The parts are still new (300ish miles), but I'm a little disconcerted that I can make the chain slip on the cassette if I really try. I know what some of you are probably thinking; the chain, chainrings, cassette were all replaced at the same time, and the chain is the proper length.

I should also note than I'm currently about 200 lbs and have decently strong legs, although I do not know how much power I put out (yet).

If any of this has you concerned, go with PG-1170 or better. and you'll be fine.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm no weight weenie, and efficiency can be gained by loosing my mid section, so for me, this is the perfect cassette, a workhorse. cheap, works on 11 speed road with no issues!

Can't complain. Great for the price.

Definitely not the lightest or flashier cassette on the market, but shifting quality is excellent. Bought this after researching the 1150 cassette and found they are the same besides weight. For a midrange cassette the shifting is excellent.
