The jacket is highly waterproof with durable, 3-layer waterproofing, water-resistant zippers, full seam sealing, and a durable water repellent to shed snow and light precipitation. At the same time, the Solitaire spoils us with significant ventilation to dump excess heat and moisture vapor, including large underarm ventilation zippers and a zippered chest vent (that also looks sick). That combination of protection and ventilation keeps us dry and comfortable, whether we're waiting for the lift, ripping, or sending it. This shell is tailored to fit our female bodies and designed for both backcountry and resort skiing.
