Sportful Giara Bib Short - Men's

Low-key luxury.

Proudly belonging to Sportful's newest line of casual-inspired performance apparel, the Men's Giara Bibshort bestows the same DNA of Sportful's upper-echelon bibs, but it's refined with a low-key aesthetic that doesn't scream "look at me" when you're pedaling down your favorite country road. Greater levels of elastane provide an optimal mixture of fluidity and support, without being as compressive as race-specific options. This equates to greater comfort for riders who aren't toeing starting lines of races, instead catering to the everyday rider out there merely for the experiential and fitness aspects of cycling.

Developed in conjunction with professional cyclists, Sportful's BodyFit Pro chamois is strategically designed with long-distance comfort in mind. This variable thickness chamois is anatomically contoured for a natural fit and feel. Seamless construction eliminates chafing from the equation, meaning you'll be able to ride for longer distances without undue irritation. And seeing that your long-distance rides will probably extend into the late-evening, Sportful adds a tasteful stripe along the left leg for reflectivity after dark.

  • Low-key comfort for the everyday rider
  • Higher levels of elastane for fluid mobility
  • Lightweight mesh bibs won't soak you in sweat
  • BodyFit Pro chamois maximizes long-distance comfort
  • Internal elastic leg grippers for a secure fit
  • Reflective leg stripe for greater visibility

Not bad

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L

These are decent bibs. I generally wear them for shorter training rides of 2.5 hours or less. They're adequate for the job. I probably wouldn't want these for longer rides. They fit well and are well made. Decent but not great chamois.

Great looking kit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

the simple design makes this one of the best looking kits out right now in my opinion. If you find that you are in the middle of sizes, i recommend going up one size.
