Just because you're spending the winter far from the mountains doesn't mean you won't need rugged protection and durability when the snow hits. The urban-friendly Sorel Cheyanne Metro Lace WP Boot is ready for all the snow and slush that city sidewalks can throw at you, thanks to its waterproof construction and toasty synthetic insulation. Available in both suede and full-grain leather, it's got a seam-sealed construction that'll keep out moisture of all kinds, while the durable leather upper and rubber shell withstand the wear of constant commuting and weekend adventures. Meanwhile, the subtly integrated synthetic insulation keeps your feet toasty and warm in cold temps, while a soft microfleece lining adds cozy comfort. A soft cushioned footbed offers comfortable support for long days on your feet, and the molded rubber outsole helps keep your footing secure on snowy surfaces.

Solid Winter boot
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
It took a little to break it in, but once I did I really enjoyed how warm and solid these boots are.

Winter Staple
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
If there is snow on the ground, these are on my feet. There is a plush lining inside that is equivalent to putting your feet into your favorite fleece jacket. I wear these for everything from ski resort parking lots to snow filled dog parks. Plus, they look great. Two thumbs up from me.

Poorly constructed
Love the look of these and have owned Sorel boots my entire life but I was shocked at the sloppy construction of these boots. The footbed on the left boot is misshaped with a hard lump in exactly the wrong spot, the heel of the right boot is incorrectly sewn and creates a lip that chafes against your heel. I literally couldn?t walk 5 feet in my kitchen without pain. What happened to Sorel?s quality control? Bummer
