Sombrio Silhouette Riding Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Lumberjill rides.

Whether you're ripping berms or building secret trails in the PNW, the Sombrio Silhouette Women's Riding Shirt will have your back. It might look like it's been stolen from a lumberjack's closet, but the Silhouette is way more than just a flannel. For starters, it's made from Dura Tek, a tough, stretchy, and breathable fabric that's far more at home on the bike than any regular old flannel. It also features reinforced elbows and underarm ventilation eyelets to keep you protected and cool, respectively, and a hidden side stash pocket for key gear that you can't afford to donate to the trail.

Love this shirt - on & off the bike!
Super comfy to mountain bike. Super cute out & about. Fit is perfect for me and I even have room for G-Form elbow pads :)

Awesome multi tasker

This is an awesome shirt. The fabric is techy but super soft, comfortable and has just the right amount of stretch. I could not agree with the previous reviewer about the shirt running super small. If anything this shirt runs slightly bigger but it depends on how you like it to fit. I am most often a Medium and bought the shirt in both small and Medium to try and I kept the Small. The small is fitted with enough room in the shoulders and sleeves. I prefer less floppy fabric and wanted to be able to wear this casually also. The Medium fit a little more baggy but it didn't look too big. I just preferred the more tailored look of the small. I would say this shirt has generous shoulder room to accommodate an athletic built. In the small I would not have enough room for elbow pads underneath the shirt but I wanted it more for a commuter and layer than a jersey replacement. That said, this shirt seems like it is super well made and could take a beating. Elbows are reinforced and the metal buttons seem extra beefy. The zipper pocket on the side is a nice touch and will fit small essentials (my regular iphone fits with a little extra room for a power bar and keys). The chest pockets do not have a button which makes them more or less unsuitable for storing anything but a trail map. I might add some snaps to mitigate that. All in all a nice shirt that looks good on and off the bike.

Waaaaay too small

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I ordered a Large, and it was too small (I'm 5'7" and 138lbs).

Unanswered Question

Do you plan to get more stock before Christmas?

Just wondering what the fabric composition is. Specifically, does this fabric feel soft and cottony or slippery and synthetic?

Thanks!

This will have more of a cotton feel as opposed to a rain jacket or another type of synthetic piece.
