Smith Pivlock Asana Sunglasses

Stick 'em on and go.

Some seriously sweet interchangeable shades just for gals, the Smith Pivlock Asana Women's Sunglasses will keep your eyes protected and your vision crystal clear whether you're running, cycling, or just kicking back looking cool. There's not doubt they're made for getting active, though, with lightweight TR-90 frames that feature two-way adjustable hydrophilic nose pads and hydrophilic temple tips that actually get stickier when they get wet, so you'll never have to worry about your shades slipping down your nose when you need both hands on the bars. The Carbonic TLT lenses are crystal clear and oil-, water-, and dirt-resistant, and feature a wide bridgeless and frameless design for and unparalleled field of vision. Even with all this tech, the Asana's party piece is undoubtedly the Pivlock lens-change technology, which lets you swap out lenses in a second so you don't waste your precious bike time messing with gear.

finally glasses for small headed people

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

These are really perfect for people with small heads and faces like me. Easy to change lenses, too. Depending on your adherence to the Rule #37 you can wear the arms under or over helmet straps, and they'll stay on your face. I've worn these on mountain bike trails and the road with no issues.

Great Sunglasses

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These literally float on your face so you don't feel them at all while running or cycling. Then when you don't need the eye protection they double as a headband. I like using sunglasses as a headband to keep my hair out of my face while having the flexibility to flip them down for sun /wind protection at a moments notice. Thanks JP Burkemper for styling me out with these sporty shades!

How many lenses do the white/platinum come with?

Great for smaller faces

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have a very small face and these have been great for me! After previously owning the Pivlock Arena's, the Asana's fit just a tad bit smaller on the sides, and have a rounder, more feminine shape to them, which is perfect! They work great, look great and are really lightweight! They come with the large lens case and two lens colors, however I wish they also came with a clear lens.

Very cute

Fantastic customer service. My first order didn't show up and they immediately sent me a new one.i am very happy with this purchase. Fit well, good looking.
I might get different color too.

Small frames, too small for me.

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I snagged a pair of these Pivlock Asana glasses for road and mountain biking this summer, but never took them for a ride. The frames felt tiny on my face. I don't exactly have a wide, or big face, so I'm not sure what made them seem so small. It could definitely have something to do with me casually wearing bigger shades, but I just wasn't comfortable in these.

They are good looking, and I think would work great for someone who likes a smaller pair of glasses, but weren't for me!

Sporty-sport sunglasses!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These sunglasses are perfect for both cycling and running. I usually forget I am wearing them which is better than any other glasses I have used. They are sleek and a simple design and the interchangeable lenses they come with are helpful for cloudy days or night riding. They are so easy to switch out. My only qualm is that they cause a slight headache after wearing them for several hours, but this happens to me with all of the glasses I wear. I loved them so much I bought my mom a matching pair. Run the trail!

In addition to the lens color shown, do these sunglasses come with additional lenses to switch out?

Perfect, lightweight sunglasses

I like sunglasses that go high enough to cover my eyebrows, and these do that great. I love the adjustable nose piece. Fits great with my Giro bike helmet. So lightweight, too!

    Rock and roll.

Great coverage, lightweight and comfortable. Honestly some of my favorite shades for getting after it. Much prefer them for trail and road running, but presumably they're great for all other aerobic activities as well. I'd say they're true to size in the sense that they're made for women and boast a small frame.

    love em

after owning a pair of pivlocks for myself I bought these for a friend who has loved them. easy to swap out lenses and nice case to hold the extras. would definitely recommend.

      My wife loves it

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The original Pivlock is an elegant design with great coverage while still being compatible with the helmet. Light and comfortable and stays on her face even when sweating. Interchangeable lenses are very easy to change out.

      Happy Daughter!

      • Fit: Runs small

My daughter is super excited that she finally found sunglasses that fit her. She is a JR Cyclist and cannot be more thrill with these!

      Finally

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My wife was looking long and hard to find a pair of sunglasses that would be compatible with her POC bike helmet and she was really glad to finally find these. They fit behind her ears, don't press uncomfortably into her head, and they stay put on her nose. She likes that the lenses are easy to change too.

      Best face coverage

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

I bought this sunglasses for mountain biking, they fit good on my small face and covered very well my eyes so there is no way a stone can hit my eyes directly or that they get irritated because of riding during rainy and windy days.

Interchange the lenses is very easy and fast and the nose bridge material avoid that they slide; also they do not move up and down when you smile.

The only downsides are that the hardcase is too big, the temple ends cause me pain after 2h of riding so I have to change their position to be over my ears, the transparent lenses fog when I am climbing because I am going slower and sweating more ( I have not tried the other lenses under climbing conditions, but I will do it and update this review with the results )
