Boasting a timeless shape with modern tech, the Smith Lowdown2 Polarized ChromaPop Sunglasses are sure to become your go-to shades for everything from daily commutes to camping trips and beach vacations. They have the same familiar silhouette as the original Lowdowns, just with a slightly updated surface design and flatter 4-base curve for maximum style points. ChromaPop technology delivers crisper, more vivid views of the world around you, and polarized lenses eliminate glare from reflective surfaces so you can see better on open water, snow-covered mountains, and rain-slicked streets alike. Evolve frame material offers ultralight comfort, and hydrophilic nose pads keep them in place through your roughest and rowdiest adventures.

- Q & A
How wide are these glasses overall? I understand the lenses are 55mm wide each, and the bridge 16mm. But that doesn’t take into account the frame width on each end for an accurate overall width.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
One of my all time favorite frame designs and the chromapop lenses are one of the best available. The new Lowdown 2 version also makes some nice upgrades over the previous. The rubber pieces on the nose bridge work like a charm, especially out on the river. I've lost too many pairs to let my croakies go, but these really stay in place nicely. The frame also feels bomber compared to the originals. Still the same classic look with some of the best light filtration out there. Combo that with the polarization and these are just about the ultimate shades for anything on the water.
