Phd Ultra Light Sport Hoodie

Questionable clouds are amassing on the horizon, but you're still setting out on the trail with confidence thanks to the Smartwool Men's Phd Ultra Light Sport Hoodie. Its DWR-treated nylon shell wards off wind and light precipitation, while body-mapped, merino wool-blended panels wick moisture and enhance breathability to keep you comfortable when you're on the move. Plus, it packs completely in its own chest pocket for easy storage when the clouds change directional and the sun pops back out.

  • Light and packable weather protection for outdoor ventures
  • DWR-treated nylon shell blocks wind and light rain
  • Merino wool blend panels manage moisture and breathe well
  • Packs easily into own zippered chest pocket

Very thin, but feels clammy

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Great fit and function. Great looking piece for occasional usage. If I wear with just a t-shirt or tech shirt, the material clings to my skin(sunny day). Its like wearing a garbage bag, not too satisfied with this purchase.....if I use this running or hiking, I would be so irritated.

My go to spring jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: large

This has become my go to spring jacket due to it's packability and versatility. No matter how nice the day starts, when in the Rockies in the spring you have to have a "plan B". This jacket packs tight enough to easily have at all times. This small and light of a jacket is typically like wearing a trash bag for breathability. This one however has merino in all the key areas to keep you comfortable even if you going at it. I also like the merino in the hood, adds a bit of warmth and keeps it quiet when the wind is blowing. I am 5'11", weigh 195 and a large fits well.

    How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
    Chest:
Measure under your arms, around fullest part of chest and back circumference.
    Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
    High Hip:
Measure around high hip circumference approximately 3-inch below natural waistline.
    Hip:
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hip.
    Arm Length:
With elbow bent slightly, measure from center back of neck, across top of shoulder, to elbow and down to wrist bone.
    Inseam:
Measure along inside leg from crotch to ankle bone. Or using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
