Keeps the girls in place

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Does it's job - used for mt biking and skiing.

Nice, but a touch small

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I concur with the reviewers who felt this runs a bit small -- or maybe it feels that way because, as others say, it's pretty thick material. However, it has loosened up a bit after a few washings, so I think it will just get better the more you wear it. And while it's thick, it doesn't feel too noticeably hot, which is great.

Not flattering...

Love the color! I just don't think its flattering.
When I put it on I felt like I was wearing a dish towel that was cut in the shape of a bra! Just my opinion!
And as, in the movie, Road House, "Opinions Vary." Ha!

Just made everything look flat. It wasn't a tight and shapely as I was hoping for!

great seamless another great option

Great seamless comfort, love that part!

One upside is the adjustable straps, but you then have the small downside of the plastic ring the straps attach to. If you are planning to wear this under a backpack, I would recommend the PHD Racerback, or the Double Strappy instead.

Otherwise, by comparison, this has similar coverage to the Racerback, and more coverage than the double strappy. And generally awesome merino comfort and stretch.

My favorite

I LOVE these bras. I wear these almost everyday. They are light, stretchy, and super comfortable. The straps on the back are very minimal and not restrictive. I am small so do not need a ton of support and these are perfect for everything from high impact to everyday wear. Some bras have material that feels tight and constricting, even with proper fit. These have enough give that they fit snug yet do no feel binding. I also love the wool fabric, it does not seem to get stinky. Highly recommend.

Comfort at it's Best

My mom bought this bra a says it's a keeper. She is smaller and has a difficult time finding sport bras to fit, so the smaller sizing worked in her favor. She wore it backing for 4 days, rained for 2 of the days and she had no complaints, no odor, dried quickly and didn't stretch out.

Nice bra runs small

I hike, bike, ski, run, alpine and Nordic ski. I have become a huge fan of wool bras. This bra tends to run a bit small. I usually buy a medium but ordered a large. It is snug but comfortable.

These bras keep you dry and comfortable. All day X-country skiing tends to make my base layers damp and chilly for the mid day lunch break. Wool is now my best friend on my base layers. I would highly recommend this product. I'm using it year round. Amazingly comfortable on hot days. A merino wool shirt with this bra under is now my go to combination for hiking.

Not for me

Sent it back. Didn't like the fit. Felt too thick. Might work for someone else.

This is a great sports bra. I wear it a lot for work, working out and just casual use. I like the teal color combo, and it goes well under deeper v-neck shirts. This can be worn several times before washing without worry of the material holding a funky smell.

my new favorite!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I wore this bra all summer in hot weather (running) and it performed like a champ. The wool is surprisingly soft and comfortable and provides plenty of support. I am a 32B and ordered a medium, so it seems like they run a little small.

Common problem

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

It seems like a good number of sports bras have the little plastic strap length adjusters on the back of the bra. Am so bummed that this one is the same way, otherwise I think it would be great. If you wear a heavy pack with it, they dig into your skin. The only alternative is going with a bra that has super wide straps , which dig into your neck. There needs to be more thin strapped bras without the plastic length adjusters on them.

New favorite bra

This is my new favorite!

A bit snug out of the box, but not that much, and it is perfect after a few uses.

I have used wool sports bras some years now, from ibex and devold. And I have loved them, no more cold, wet chest and back, when putting the pack down for a rest or lunch. I have also loved that I could wear them 24/7, trekking the whole day, and stay on when its time to hit the sleeping bag.

This bra does the job just as well, put it provides way more support, even after 72 straight hours of wear, without restricting like a running bra! And it adds a very nice round shape!!! Wool on the inside for comfort, synthetics on the outside for support.

Perfect for light and heavy trekking, cross country skiing, snowboarding, biking and climbing.

And well, I does a better (and prettier) job for everyday wear, than a normal bra.

For climbing, I somehow feel less vulnerable about the girls with this.

Really nice bra, but too thick for me

This truly is a well-made, attractive sports bra. I ordered the small, as I am a size 34 B or thereabouts. It fits just as I would want a sports bra to fit-- and for me, offers all the support I would need even for running. However, it is made of 2 layers of dense fabric, and since I was planning on using it principally for warm-weather hiking and running, it is too thick and hot for me. I also found it a bit scratchy, to my surprise. So, because the fabric is so thick, I am going to have to send it back. :(
