Breathable Base-Layer

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This has quickly become my go-to base layer for winter activities, and will soon become one for spring as well. My favorite feature of this hoodie, is its temperature regulation. Its amazing at breathing when you become hot, and wicks moisture away through the merino wool. ON the flip-side, it keeps you warm if the temps begin to drop, and stands up to light gusts. I am a huge fan of the quarter-zip, and it is a deep opening, which allows for extreme venting. This has a tighter fit to it, and this is perfect for a piece like this. Overall a fantastic base-layer, that is great for a variety of technical activities.

Its wool keep that in mind!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

Wool will always be a tad scratchy but that's the magic! Warm and sleek, you won't regret this buy. I usually get Pendleton for my wool but you can't workout in a plaid wool shirt! It's best worn over an undershirt and acts great as a baselayer. The only catch is that it is tight on the shoulders. I'm a swimmer so mine are already big so it may not be an issue for you all.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around fullest part of chest and back circumference.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hip.
Arm Length:
With elbow bent slightly, measure from center back of neck, across top of shoulder, to elbow and down to wrist bone.
Inseam:
Measure along inside leg from crotch to ankle bone. Or using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
