Perfect for skiing

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought this for my March ski trip in Park City, Utah. It was extremely warm and sometimes too warm at the base of the mountain. I have been in search of a good quality base layer and this one is superior to any of the others I have previously tried.

Classic

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This top is a basic to wear hiking or in the city either alone or under a flannel shirt. It’s naturally tight fitting as it is designed to wear as a base layer. Since I prefer a looser fit, I chose the next size up. The sleeves are also long enough to cover the tops of the hands, if necessary.

Comfy and looks great.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I am athletic figure. 5'5 155 lbs (muscular) It fits very well, ample space but still form-fitting (not too snug). Will get LOTS of use from. this. Smartwool shirts last a really long time as well too, but don't dry it too much. Will shrink if you dry it too much. I have 4 smart wool shirts that I have been wearing several years, this same style.

Great

So soft! So stretchy! I upsized to an XL, usually I buy L but it doesn’t look baggy. This is so comfy to sleep in and wear as under or overwear.

a favorite; sized up for maternity wear

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I really love these shirts for daily and active wear. I'm currently pregnant and have been desperate to find things that cover my swelling belly but also allow me to continue my running. I bought this 2 sizes larger than my typical size during my 2nd trimester and this shirt is still comfortable (though a bit long in the sleeves) and is long enough to cover the pregnancy bump while going on cold weather jogs. It's SO HARD to find active wear that is practical for pregnancy -- I love this shirt normally and am thrilled to let other expecting parents that sizing up works just grand for this product. Note on wear and tear: my other shirts have developed small holes after plentiful use/washing; easy enough to darn.

Perfect Shirt

Familiarity:

I sized up for a looser fit. I bought this shirt for a fall camping trip. The shirt kept me warm and was comfortable. I am happy with my purchase.

Favorite Baselayers!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I typically run pretty cold, so I always try to find a warm baselayers that I love. This makes the list! Merino is the only way to go for me. I am 5'6, 130 lbs and the small fits great. Get a few colors cause this is going to be your favorite too!

Great Gift

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I got this as an X-mas gift for my aunt, and she absolutely fell in love with it. It provides warmth but also breathes and has a great fit. She liked it so much I will probably end up getting her a couple more for her!

Good investment

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I tend to feel cold all the time and don?t like bulking up indoors. These shirts are very warm, comfortably form fitting without being tight, do not need washing too often (and still keep form when lay out to dry). The colors are vibrant, do not fade, and no pilling in all the years I?ve had these. They are a Fall, Winter, and early Spring staple to have.

Hole after two washes

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Smartwool is usually my standard winter underlayer for the office. I bought the alpine blue in medium and loved it. Beautiful color, great fit, soft feeling on the skin. However, after two washes, it developed a hole in the arm. It's too late to send back and for the price that's a raw deal!
