Lightweight Liner Glove adds breathable warmth for everyday cold and layered winter use
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I keep these liners in my kit all winter. They’re warm enough on their own for quick errands or active days, and slim enough to disappear inside heavier gloves when it’s really cold. They manage moisture well and let me use my phone without pulling them off.”
We slip on the Liner Glove as our first layer of defense when the temperature drops. Built for versatility, these gloves keep our hands warm and dry whether we’re hustling through town, moving uphill on a brisk trail, or layering up for a long day on snow. They’re simple, reliable, and easy to forget you’re wearing—until you take them off.
The merino-blend fabric traps warmth while wicking moisture away from our skin, helping prevent clammy hands during high-output efforts. A low-profile design fits comfortably under insulated gloves or mitts, and the rib-knit cuff keeps the fit clean and secure. With touchscreen compatibility built in, these liners make cold-weather living just a little more convenient.

All You Need Is Glove
I absolutely loved the Smartwool merino glove liners. While they were a bit too thick to function comfortably as true “liners” under heavier gloves, they were perfect worn on their own while trekking. They kept my hands warm without unnecessary bulk and were easy to take on and off as temperatures shifted. That flexibility made a big difference during long hiking days. I bought two pairs — one for trekking and one for sleeping — and that turned out to be the right call. Sleeping in them kept my hands warm without feeling restrictive, and having a second pair meant I always had a dry option ready. Lightweight, practical, and worth bringing along.

These are great liners. They keep my hand extra warm. I have worn them alone and they are great until the wind picks up.

Love these. Perfect for a chilly day or under a pair of thick ones on a super cold day. Love that you can have them on and use your phone.

Perfect lining gloves

Love these. Very thin but warm for mild winter. Got them to wear under my ski gloves but I wear them as my everyday gloves now. Not the softest wool but it's not the itchy kind either. If you own any Smartwool products, expect the same wool as the socks and longjohns.

Soft and light, just want i needed

My previous pair I shredded doing rock scrambling, So I am hoping this pair holds up a little better, these are nice and thin and perfect for a light glove that still fits inside ski Gloves. I have used these several times working and building on an outdoor rink in Montana. Where gloves are constantly coming on and off and liners are needed to do fine motor skills as well as extra warmth on the colder nights. These thus far have been very good and keep my hands warm.
