Cast from the sand.

While some men might choose to wear the Simms Men's Skiff Shorts while casting from the beach, others might choose to wear these water-resistant shorts while eating tacos at a beachside foodtruck. Made to move with you, the fabric on these shorts stretches as you struggle to reel in, wait, what is that? Oh, man, that's the biggest tire caught in these waters for a long time. The waistband snaps won't corrode from prolonged exposure to salty air, while two slash hand pockets make it easy to seem nonchalant as you amble away from your hard-fought battle with sea debris. Other pockets zip shut so you don't risk losing your car keys or the photo of your fishing trophy. Built-in UPF 50+ reduces your exposure to harmful solar radiation.

Super Comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Size Bought: 34

Super light and the stretch fabric is incredibly comfortable. I've gotten so many compliments on these shorts (why, I'm not sure exactly since they are, well, shorts). I bought the second color after loving my first pair. Only wish they had more colors.

-- Sizing- its pretty true to size though with a generous cut for excellent movement (you won't find these on the tight side in other words).

Quick Drying/Super comfortable

These shorts are amazing, got soaking wet and dry before I even knew it. Great Fishing shorts

Great wet wading short

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: large

Another great product from Simms. I purchased these for wet wading in the Missouri summer heat. These are ideal because they are very light and comfortable but are durable. They allow for air flow when out of the water and quickly wick and dry out when wet. I fish from gravel bar to gravel bar for trout and smallmouth so I'm in a constant state of wet/dry and these are ideal. I think more comfortable than wearing a swimsuit, just remember wicking underwear. Plenty of storage, nothing waterproof. I'm 6'3 with a 34 waist and size large fits perfectly.

I like them so much I just bought another pair!!
