Fish still eat in the rain.
Some of the best fishing can be when it's raining, so don't sit in your truck waiting it out, get into the Simms Men's G4 Pro Jacket and start throwing some streamers. The breathable and waterproof Gore-Tex 3-layer Pro Shell will keep water out without leaving you feeling stifled, and with underarm vent zips, you can ditch heat quick when you're paddling or hiking further up stream. Leave that dingy vest at home, because with seven pockets accommodating fly boxes, tippet, leader spools, split shot, and two built-in retractors, there really won't be any need for it. Tighten down the Dry cuff gaskets when you release your catch to keep water from creeping in, and warm up your hands, after the release, in the two quick-drying microfleece-lined hand pockets.

I went fishing in Alaska.
It's cold in Alaska...It's so cold in Alaska.
It also rains a lot in Alaska, this is a great jacket for cold rainy Alaskan fly fishing expeditions. I am a big fan of the Gore-Tex Pro Shell fabric and the fishing specific pockets on this jacket.
My only complaint was the connection draw‐cord adjustable bottom hem ripped on the first day out on the water. Simms was happy to warranty the problem though and I haven't had a problem since.
This jacket is great. The only problem I have is the cuffs are really small and I have big hands so it is hard to get off when wet
Is the G4 Pro jacket for sale a 2015 or 2016 model?
Is the G4 jacket on sale the new 2015 version? Thanks
