Sidi Genius Fit Carbon Narrow Shoes - Men's

Genius.

Sidi's Genius Fit shoes hold a place as one of the most well-loved and time-tested cycling shoes for riders of all levels, with replaceable hardware and durability to stand up to year after year of hard-ridden miles. The Sidi Genius Fit Carbon Narrow Men's Shoes carry on this tradition for riders who find Sidi's standard width to be a bit on the roomy side.

The Genius Fits use Sidi's beloved ratcheting buckle for retention, which relies on micro-adjustment operation that lets you vary strap pressure to dial in a perfect fit every time. The Soft Arch Compression Strap evenly spreads the upward stroke pedaling forces across the top of your foot while also alleviating the discomfort of over-tightening. Across the mid- and forefoot, fit is managed by a pair of standard Sidi hook-and-loop straps that feature an additional strip of polymer teeth to ensure secure locking.

The uppers' mesh-ventilated Technomicro material is water-repellent, quick-drying, breathable, and abrasion- and mildew-resistant for comfort that lasts throughout your ride. It also resists stretching, so the precise fit of the fastening buckle won't be compromised during long days and hard efforts.

Sidi's Millennium 4 Carbon Composite outsole is a nylon matrix shot through with carbon fiber, blending low weight, high stiffness, and a reasonable price in a sole that's as ready to race as it is to spin through a charity ride century. It also resists warping due to humidity, heat, and age, so you'll be wearing these shoes long after you've worn out and replaced the heel pad. If you've ever lost a buckle to a crash, then you'll also be happy to know that all of the Genius Fit's hardware is also replaceable.

They are not kidding

These are noticeably narrower than standard SIDI shoes across the ball of the foot and across the buckle/straps. The difference is similar to wearing a pair of very thick wool socks. I'm giving them a try as over the years my standard-size 45.5 shoes stretched and I'm now maxing out the tightness on the buckles/straps. They are a bit too tight as of now but my theory is that they will stretch out over time.
