The Shimano Dura-Ace PD-R9300 pedal drops the shoe-to-pedal interface to 12.5 millimeters, shortening the distance between foot and pedal axle for a more direct connection to the bike. A wider contact platform spreads pressure across a bigger surface during hard efforts, and a refined pedal shape with a wider cleat catch makes clipping in faster and more consistent. This build runs a spindle 4 millimeters longer than standard, widening stance for riders who track their knees better with more room between the pedals.
