Fragrant in Performance and Style.
As the resident flower in a sea of drab and droll, SheBeest often eschews the common colorways and normative requirements of cycling kits through brilliant patterns and a smattering of sprightly colors. And, in typical SheBeest fashion, the Women's Petunia Bib Shorts is no different. Naturally spirited in demeanor and looks, the Petunia embodies a vivacious approach to cycling, enduring swift (albeit challenging) ascents and nail-biting descents alike. However, the Petunia isn't just a pretty face as it would be a rather disagreeable offense. Alas, consequently, the Petunia is backed by technical features and performance fabric that assures unobstructed mobility.
To start, the Petunia is fashioned with an all-over compression fabric for equal parts muscle support, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying performance, while the form-fitting silhouette maintains a contoured fit and feel. The no-feel flatlock seams are designed as such that they prevent chafing or hot spots, while the absences of an outer seam bolsters your comfort levels when in-saddle.
Meanwhile, the Shelastic 2.0 chamois features multi-density foam that touts laser-cut topography, which is intended to relieve pressure and provide impact attenuation, as well as assuring support in key areas as you ride. Additionally, SheBeest aimed to make chafing obsolete with the Shelastic, equipping it with anti-wrinkle properties as well as a flexible, stretchy design. A top layer of breathable, moisture-wicking fabric is equipped with an anti-odor treatment to keep those post-saddle sessions relatively fetor-free. Not to mention, the chamois is structured as such that it, in SheBeest's words "eliminates pancake butt" and enhances your assets rather than flattening them offensively.
New to this year is the 3-inch, soft and grippy SheBand, assuring a light, yet secure fit that refuses to slink around. An updated 8-inch inseam promotes better structured coverage, and the easy access pocket keeps small necessities close. Though, unique to SheBeest, the Petunia features a highly breathable, minimalist bib construction that mimics a halter silhouette. In turn, this bib design stretches up from your hipbones to the base-of-your-neck vertebrae, thus allowing you to lower the bib without having to remove your jersey altogether.
- A uniquely styled pair of bibs for unencumbered comfort
- Performance fabric offers a contoured, compression fit
- Grippy SheBand promotes a secure feel
- Shelastic chamois wicks away moisture and attenuates impact
- Halter-inspired band can be easily lowered
Love the pattern!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The pattern on these shorts is great and super comfortable! Is a halter top which is really comfortable and doesn't pull on your neck.
Fun pattern; fit is off.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Large
Love the cherry pattern, and the chamois is good, but the fit is just off. Shebeest normally runs pretty big, but I needed a Large to go around my legs - the bands are just disproportionately tight to the rest of the short - so the upper "bib" part is too big. (Note: The coordinating top is standard Shebeest "runs big." I got a small and its too big). I've also noticed the pattern is starting to rub off where my leg rubs the saddle.
All in all, a fun change to plain black or sponsor logos across my butt. I'd buy them on sale for occasional rides, but I wouldn't recommend them at full price.
Super comfortable shorts however the fit is a little off for me. The material stretches at the leg band and messes up the design. But the designs are what drew me in and I love it! So much fun!! Kept one to try out and see how it breaks in
I was looking for some new spandex and opted for these just because of how fun the prints are! I didnât find a huge fit difference between the small and medium but did find the fit kind of off for the lower leg grip. It isnât uncomfortable but it just pulls the material in various directions and messes up the pattern a bit. I like the mesh overall portion. I kept one design and the mediums for now. The fit wasnât my favorite so I will try them and see how they fair after a few rides.

- How to Measure:
- For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
- Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
- Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
- Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
- Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
