- Q & A
Most painful shoes I've ever worn—by far
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 9.5
These shoes are extraordinarily painful—maybe as a result of the stiff, not-great-quality leather and the way the criss-crossed straps bend and poke into my feet as I walk...? They're the right size, and lucky for me, they run a bit narrow in the forefoot and heel. But they are just like torture devices on my feet. I thought maybe I could break them in, so I wore them around the city a day or two. Mistake. I had to hobble home right after work and change. I'm hoping maybe I can soften them up with oil, the way I did baseball gloves as a kid...? Who knows. Wish I had returned em.
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: 9
These felt at least half a size too small and I am always a 9 (and have many seychelles in 9). Perhaps you're supposed to stretch the leather, but I think my feet would be bleeding by the time I got them to stretch that much--the edges are much too sharp. Also weirdly unflattering shape in person.
Cute but painful
The show fit but right near the ankle the shoe dug in and would have been very uncomfortable to wear especially for long periods of time.
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
- Fit: True to size
I gifted these to my mom, who needed some cute summer sandals that dont show her toes to wear with dresses. She picked out the white and black ones so he is all set for the summer! She mentioned that these are very stiff when you first start wearing them, but she thinks they'll soften up the more she uses them as most leather does.
