    Light and strong.

Scott's Soldier 2 Elbow Guards are the answer to riders looking for lightweight fabric and freedom of motion without sacrificing on protection. The G30 protection takes front stage with its "intelligent molecules" that boast the ability to stay flexible while you're riding and then lock together upon impact to create a rigid surface that protects against rocks and other surface furniture. Around the padding, stretchy mesh construction breathes easily to keep you cool on burly trails while silicone printing eliminates unplanned shifts in position.

    • A lightweight and flexible elbow guard
    • Flexible D30 material hardens on impact
    • Durable front fabric resists abrasions
    • Breathable mesh construction
    • Silicone printing holds guard in place

    Hardly notice they are there!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought these for me and my husband. We both love them! Not hardcore downhill protection, but lite all-mountain. Stay put and ventilate well.

Good pad, runs a bit small

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small

I picked this pad up in a medium because I wanted a lightweight elbow pad to wear during days riding lifts. These things work great, the padding is nice and flexible and the material is a super light mesh so it breathes really well. The one nitpick that I have is that they are a bit on the small side, and they have this strange silicone strap over the upper forearm that tends to bind a bit. I just used a knife to cut that and release the tension, and they work great now.
